Village of Slocan takes strategic approach to old millsite

Now that the $1.5 million sale of the former mill site to the Village of Slocan has closed, the Village has started preparing the way for long-term redevelopment of the property. On October 13, council passed a resolution to advise the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Strategy that the Village wishes to opt out of administering the provincial contaminated sites site profile system.
